How can I polish malachite and other rocks and minerals?
I bought some samples processed raw malachite websites, and I wondered what I have to polish these guys to be nice and shiny? I'm not looking to buy expensive machines, the cheaper the better. Can I get some paper sandpaper and go at it? Or is it just takes too long? Thanks advaned,
My only option for you would be is to buy a cup of rock, which can be buy at Fry Electronics in the children's section in which all are science kits, Toys R Us, or store D & J Hobby in Campbell are here, California. Some of these stone vessels are reasonably priced. Its bright Malachite mineral oil and a soft cloth after falling would do the trick. If you prefer sandpaper and mineral oil, which will take a long time. Have fun on your mineral collection!
