Please help me identify these gemstones!

A week ago, I bought these rough stone of a local trader. My friend cut faceting ovals in a  European style and now I have this beautiful stone, but no name.

Thanks for sending us your photos of the faceting rough.  Its difficult to tell from the photos of the rough stones before they have been faceted. Sorry but we can't do gem identification or valuations on line.

Rough Diamonds, A Journey to Polish

Mines: Over 250 tons of ore must be extracted to give carats of rough diamonds. On the other hand, only about 20 percent of all rough diamonds are suitable for use as gems. Since diamond is the material most drive known to man, the rest of the diamonds are used for industrial purposes, such as cutting, drilling and grinding. Diamonds are mined in the area deepest Magma kimberlite pipes up to 75 miles deep called "blue rock" or "blue" and the area minus deep 50 to 60 feet below the earth surface called "yellow." Currently, over 90 percent of world supply of diamonds operates in South Africa. However, diamonds are also mined in Australia, South America, Russia and Canada.

Marking, which is the first step in the process of making diamonds is done after every rough diamond is analyzed to decide how it should be cut to give the greatest value. Here, the shape of rough diamond, and the number and location of impurities and imperfections are expected. Taking these factors into account, the planner decides how the diamond must be cut and "brands" to point where the stone should be cleaved or sawn.

Cleavage: Following a diamond is marked by particular stone, it is sent to a chopper or a sawyer. When the stone is very large and valuable, cleavage is a critical process, because a mistake by the planner or the cleaver can shatter the diamond. The job is cleaver to cut the diamond into two pieces, to seek the best angles and implement what will be the final cut.
